Skills Targets Competing
This timetable is subject to change at short notice.
Please look out for emails and alerts from the club about short term timetable & location changes.
| Day | Time | Duration | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thursday | 19:30 – 21:00 | 90 mins | Bushey Grove |
| Sunday | 16:30 – 18:00 | 90 mins | St Margaret's |
All swimmers should carry goggles, spare goggles and swim hat.
Where possible, please mark personal kit with your name (in Sharpie).
Periodically, please soak kit items in sterilising fluid (e.g. Milton). This is particularly important for snorkels.

Pull Buoy
A foam buoy placed between the legs to lift the hips and legs in the water. Allows swimmers to focus on upper-body strength, stroke technique, and body alignment.

Short Fins
Short-blade training fins that increase resistance while maintaining a fast kick tempo. Used to improve leg power, ankle flexibility, and overall kick efficiency. (not 'sprint' fins)

Large Kick Board
A full-size board used for kick sets to build lower-body strength, improve body position, and isolate the legs during training. Suitable for older or more advanced swimmers.

Snorkel (front)
A centre-mounted training snorkel that enables swimmers to focus on stroke technique, body alignment, and rotation without needing to turn their head to breathe.

Mesh Bag
A kit bag used to carry all training equipment poolside. Allows items to dry quickly and makes it easy to transport fins, kick boards, and other gear.
Other kit
Information about other kit (T-shirts, club swimming hats etc) can be found on our Club Kit page
